Established in 2011: 14+ Years of Trusted Service

Optimal Security Services Sdn Bhd started in 2011 with a fairly simple complaint: too many guarding contracts in Malaysia were sold on a uniform and a promise, with little behind them. We set out to close that gap — KDN licensing, PIKM-certified training, and a command centre that actually answers the phone at 3am.

Today we deploy both local Malaysian guards and KDN-approved Nepalese guards across industrial, commercial, residential and hospital security guard services, as well as schools, warehouses and condominiums — matched to the risk profile of the site, not a one-size-fits-all headcount. Our KDN Licence No. is 02260234. Use these steps on us and on any other supplier, alongside our verification checklist.

  1. View our KDN licence above, or ask for a copy. It should name Optimal Security Services Sdn Bhd, show Licence No. 02260234 and list types 2(a) and 2(b).
  2. Check the licence period. Our current period ends 31 December 2026; licences are renewed annually.
  3. Confirm that our company registration number (969825-V) matches the name on the licence, using SSM.
  4. Check PIKM membership. PIKM is the Persatuan Industri Keselamatan Malaysia, the Malaysian security industry association. Our certificate is shown above, and you can also confirm membership with PIKM directly.

Are you a licensed private security company in Malaysia?
Yes. We operate under the Private Agencies Act 1971 (Akta 27), approved and regulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA/KDN).
What does your MOHA licence authorise?
Our KDN licence carries two licence types under the Private Agencies Act 1971: 2(a) Kawalan Keselamatan (security guarding) and 2(b) Penyiasatan Persendirian (private investigation). The guarding licence covers manned guarding of property and assets, in line with MOHA training and supervision standards.
What is PIKM, and is Optimal Security a member?
PIKM is the Persatuan Industri Keselamatan Malaysia, the Malaysian security industry association. Optimal Security is an active member, and our membership certificate is shown on this page. You can also confirm membership with PIKM directly.
Do you deploy both local Malaysian and Nepalese guards?
Yes. Local guards for client-facing and supervisory roles, and KDN-approved Nepalese guards for 24/7 industrial and residential contracts — all legally employed and documented.
Is Optimal Security a Bumiputera-owned company?
Yes. Optimal Security Services Sdn Bhd is Bumiputera-owned, incorporated in 2011 and registered with SSM. Ask us for supporting documents if your procurement process requires them.
Do you provide armed guards, bodyguards, escorts or cash-in-transit?
No. We provide unarmed, uniformed security guards and licensed private investigation only. We do not provide armed guards, bodyguards, escorts or cash-in-transit services.
